Chief Technology Officer
PMC Hydraulics Group AB is excited to welcome a high caliber Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with overall group responsibilities within Engineering and R&D. PMC Hydraulics Group AB is looking for a person with great drive and holistic business sense combined with structure and sense of critical details. The CTO should be a down-to-earth and self-driving person with a high level of action and customer focus. Furthermore, excellent communications and analytical skills with a knowledge of the structural fundamentals behind successful performance in a complex and high-demanding business environment are critical as well as strong business acumen and profitability focus.
THE ROLE INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING
The main objective for the CTO is to create customer value together with the sales team through applicable technologies within Power-Motion-Control. The technological foundation, heritage and experiences in the group are within hydraulics and, to stay long-term competitive and profitable in the market, there are clear objectives for the CTO to widening the foundation of hydraulics into new technologies within electrification and controls. The new CTO is expected to facilitate extended value propositions to customers through conceptualizing already known applications within hydraulics and adding new knowledge and experiences within electric- and electronic controls, condition monitoring, IOT compliance including latest trends in design with FE & CFD engineering analysis methods and rapid prototyping including 3D printing.
The position includes both daily operative obligations to facilitate and prioritize customer demands for inquiries and orders within the whole engineering team, but also long-term strategic initiatives and directions to bring the Group to an extended value proposition within new technologies in Power-Motion-Control.
The CTO will be operative responsible of a team of currently 35 engineers, located in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. The CTO will report directly to the CEO and will form part of the Group Management Team, together with 8 colleagues from five different nationalities.

OUR EXPECTATIONS
- Senior manager with experience from a similar role in manufacturing industry or in a technology-based company.
- International experience and comfortable working in a multicultural context.
- Master of Science in Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent with technical competence and interest.
- Fluent English and Swedish, orally and in writing.
- Experience from a multi-national business environment with global OEM customers.
- Excellent analytical and strategic capacity.
- Pragmatic and solution oriented
- Inspiring and enthusiastic leader.
