Design Engineer

As a result of our expansion, PMC Hydraulics, India, is looking for Design Engineers to join our operations in Bangalore. 

Key Responsibilities

We require Design Engineers with experience from Mechanical Manufacturing Industry and you will be an important part within our Engineering team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

-    Design and develop hydraulic power units, manifold blocks and manifold assemblies, as per project specifications.
-    Selection of components based on the application.
-    Develop innovative design solutions, evaluating options, and implementing solutions to meet customer needs.
-    Validate designs using proper calculations and tools.
-    Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, bill of material, test procedures and QAP.
-    Revise designs to correct operational and production problems.
-    Be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.

Requirements

In order to be successful in the application process, candidates must meet the following requirements: 

-    Minimum degree as B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering 
-    Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within Mechanical Manufacturing Industry 
-    Knowledge of material standards, fits and tolerances
-    Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks, Vault, and AutoCAD
-    Experience in FEA and CFD will be a distinct advantage.
-    ability to work as a team, with good interpersonal skills.
-    Good verbal and written communication skills interpersonal 
-    Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and logical approach
-    Structured with ability to plan and prioritise activities to achieve goals
