On behalf of PMC Hydraulics, Michael Page Nordics is currently looking to recruit an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer due to join our client's operations in either Göteborg or Ystad.

As a result of its expansion, PMC Hydraulics is seeking to recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer in a new and strategic role. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting PMC Hydraulics' continued ambition in delivering high-end qualitative products with a clear goal to reduce customer complaints through increased collaboration & performance control of its supplier base.

PMC Hydraulics are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with a knack for stakeholder management. You must be capable of building long-term partnerships with Supplier through trust and common initiatives (e.g. quality improvement programmes).

The selected candidate will be traveling up to 50% (mainly EU, occasional travel to China & India).

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

- As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality performance of our suppliers
- Drive quality improvement programmes for underperforming suppliers
- Driving supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement
- Provide leadership and management to the supplier quality department
- Monitor supplier quality and set quality control objectives
- Ensure that the supplier meets all regulatory and company requirements
- Conduct quality system audits
- Maintain supplier quality records
- Maintain supplier relationships
- Promote quality improvement initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

In order to be successful in the application process, candidates must meet the following requirements:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal & analytical skills
- Strong problem solving & organisational skills
- Candidates must be able to work equally effectively independently and in a team environment
- Ability to travel up to 50%
